    Chiropractic Assistant

    Brenna graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017 and is now attending Shenandoah University for her Master’s in Occupational Therapy with the ultimate goal of using art therapy to help children learn emotional regulation and motor skills. Motivated by a love of healthy living, Brenna hopes to help each client on their journey to wellness. Brenna’s education has shown her the importance of preventative wellness, so give the front desk a call and Brenna is happy to answer any questions you have about the benefits of chiropractic care!

  • Mandy Loy
    Chiropractic Assistant and Yoga Instructor

    Mandy is a jack of many trades. She is a certified yoga instructor and teaches a class here at the office on Thursday afternoons. Mandy has been practicing yoga since 2010 and became certified in 2017. She came to Lykens to further her knowledge of the spine and body alignments. Mandy also owns a juice business here in Winchester ([email protected]). She has a deep interest in keeping the body healthy through movement, preventative care, and healthy eating habits.

  • Adrian VanKeuren
    Tai Chi Instructor

    Adrian VanKeuren started taking Tai Chi in 2015 at the Tai Chi Dojo in Winchester, VA in hope that it would help her recover from multiple chronic illnesses.  Now, she is a certified Tai Chi instructor and brings over 900 hours of combined classroom and teaching experience in Tai Chi.  She is passionate about bringing the health benefits of Tai Chi to more people, and strives to be an approachable instructor willing to modify postures and lessons based on her students' needs and mobility.     Certified Massage Therapist, Cranio Sacral Therapy
    John Amorelli is a graduate of The Academy of Massage Therapy in Englewood, NJ (1994) and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. His approach utilizes a wide variety of massage and holistic bodywork techniques. John is committed to educating his clients in any way that might be helpful in their movement towards greater health and vitality.
  • Jess Straley
    Certified Massage Therapist
    Jess Straley is certified as a massage therapist through the Virginia Board of Nursing, as well as the West Virginia Massage Therapy Board. She is also Nationally Certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and has an Associates in Massage Therapy from Marshall Community and Technical College. Jess has been practicing massage since 2003 and enjoys using different modalities with every massage to help achieve each person’s individual goals.
  • Jody Schein
    Certified Massage Therapist

    Jody has been teaching ballroom dance students how to gain mastery over their muscles, movement and alignment for over 20 years. In 2017, she took her skill set from the dance floor and expanded it to the therapy room. She graduated from the Central Maryland School of Massage, and in 2018 she became a Certified Massage Therapist through the Virginia Board of Nursing. She is thrilled to use her therapeutic touch to help her clients feel more confident, more capable and more in tune with their own bodies as they move more joyfully through life.

    Certified Massage Therapist

    Emily Hess is a graduate of The Virginia School of Massage and has been practicing different modalities since 2002. She is a licensed therapist through the Virginia Board of Nursing and a Certified Massage Therapist through the National Certified Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Emily specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Joint Mobilization, Pre-natal and Reflexology therapies. Emily genuinely listens to her clients, and her intuitiveness allows her to effectively address their needs and goals to live a healthy, pain free life.


  • Leigh Jenks
    Meditation Instructor

    Leigh Jenks, MMT, MT-BC has over 16 years of experience as a board certified music therapist. She received both her Bachelor's and Masters of Music Therapy degrees at Shenandoah University. After becoming Board-Certified, she started the music therapy program at Blue Ridge Hospice where she currently works. Leigh also works at Shenandoah University as Adjunct Music Therapy faculty, supervising students in a medical setting and coordinating the internship program. She is owner of Awakened Potential, LLC that uses the Helen Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM). She uses this modality to assist with relationships, life changes, health challenges, grief and loss, stress, fatigue/burnout, depression, anxiety, reduction of the effects of trauma, spirituality, and enhancement of creativity.  Leigh is excited to provide her skills and therapy at Lykens Chiropractic.
